Tasks Module Update: Enhanced Task Management in the Formitize Portal

We're excited to announce significant improvements to the Task Management module in the Formitize Portal. These updates are designed to streamline your workflow, making task management more intuitive and efficient. Let's dive into the new features and enhancements!

What's New:

1. Enhanced Task Views

  • Quick Search Buttons: Easily filter tasks by their status with new "Open," "Overdue," "Complete," and "All" quick search buttons.

  • Toggle View Options: Users can now switch between List View and Card View for a more personalized task management experience.

 

2. Card View Enhancements

  • Detailed Task Cards: Each task card now includes important information such as Due Date, Task Type, Tags, and Task ID.

  • Overdue Highlight: Overdue tasks are highlighted with red text for easy identification.

3. Quick Actions on Task Cards

  • Edit, Update Status, or Delete: Each task card features shortcuts to quickly edit, mark as complete, or delete a task.

 

  • Side Drawer for Editing: Clicking the edit icon opens a side drawer with detailed editing fields, making it easy to update task information without leaving the main screen.

  • Improved Navigation: The new quick search and view toggle features make navigating through tasks faster and more intuitive.

These updates are currently for the Portal, but similar enhancements will be available in the imminent release of App 2.1.
