Quotes are obviously an integral part of any business – particularly the trades – as it gives your customers an estimate of how much your service will be. When innovating the Formitize paperless business solution, this was one of the key considerations. Therefore, creating quotes, delivering them to customers, and keeping track of them has never been easier. So whether you’re in pest control, building or any other industry, our quoting system will completely transform your process.
Here’s how:
When clients ask for quotes or estimates, you can use the app (under Accounts) or under the CRM Module in the Management Portal to create and manage it with ease.
There are a number of ways to create a quote on the Formitize app:
1. Using your app Accounts>Quotes
Within the app you can create new quotes by swiping right on the contact you would like the new quote to be for, or you can go into any job and select ‘quote’ at the bottom of the screen.
2. Using your Management Portal, CRM>Accounts>Quotes + New Quote
Within the Management Portal, you can also add a new quote when creating a new job. Just select the drop-down menu for Invoice and you will see +Quote – this will attach the quote to the job being created.
What Is Quote Expiry?
Quote Expiry refers to the period your quote is valid for. A quote is normally valid for a set period of time, so add your default quote expiry period and also adjust the Quote Expiry period on each individual quote.
